My name is Dwight Eldred Jr.and I am a 25-year-old male from
West Palm Beach, Florida. I was born
in Canton, Ohio on
June 1st, 1975 and then moved to Florida when I was 12, right
before Christmas of 1987. I live at home with my parents and my
2 brothers (Chris, 22 and Nick, 21).
I have Duchenne
Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), which is basically
a progressive muscle weakening or wasting disease. I have been in
a wheelchair since I was about nine or ten years old. When I was nine years
old I had surgery to correct scoliosis of the spine. What they did was fuse
2 metal rods to my spine so that my back would not curve. This is necessary
since the weakening of muscles does not leave your back strong enough to keep
you up right. I also use a ventilator to make it easier for me to breathe.
It sounds worse than it is. Some people think that since I cannot move I do
not have any fealing in my body, I have complete feeling of my body I just
cannot move. I have very limited movement. For more information on DMD and

In 1998 I received my AS degree in Computer Information Systems Analysis from Palm Beach Community College. I hope to at some point return for a bachelor's degree of some sort, not sure if it will be in the same area or something new. In the meantime, I am trying to get started in Network Marketing. I enjoy listening to all sorts of music from a variety of genres. I am mainly into Rock, Alternative, Metal, and Classic Rock. Some of my favorite artists/groups include; Pink Floyd, U2, Korn, Aerosmith, Nine Inch Nails, Creed, Meat Loaf, The Cure, The Beatles, The Doors, Moby, Metallica, just to name a few. If the music has emotion or makes you think then I probably like it.
